Have you ever wondered why you turn to ice cream when you go through a break up or get laid off at work - why sometimes ice cream is the most comforting friend you have?
Well here's the scoop: we are biologically trained to adore this creamy substance.
It all begins with our mother's milk - we are comforted, fed and rejoiced with a creamy substance that today still feels like a warm hug. There's no shame in this craving, in fact it's totally natural. However, it's up to us to satisfy our cravings with nourishing foods. Enjoy this chocolate delight to get everything you love from ice cream, without any of the guilt! Nourishing food should bring you pleasure and this is a perfect example of that.

1 tablespoon nut or seed butter of choice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1.5 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon maca powder (optional)
1 teaspoon vita greens powder (optional)
Method:
- Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth (Do not over blend if you want a creamy ice cream like texture.)
