It's official, fall is here! That means school is back in session, kids are out of the house, and we're back to the normal routine! Time is flying and before you know it it's going to be the holidays again! Eeek!
Today there is actually also a new moon, which is a symbol of new beginnings.
According to The Power of Positivity "September 1st will be the start of the new phase of our lives, but the fulfillment of this fresh start will not be completed for a month or longer. Use this time to be open to new experiences and embrace the coming change with an open mind and heart. Other positive changes that are brought by the new moon and solar eclipse on September 1st are clarity about our future goals and a better understanding of the direction that our lives are taking".
Whether you believe in the power of the moon or not, this powerful symbol of new beginnings is an opportunity to bring yourself to the present moment. Without worrying about what happened to you this year or this month. It's an opportunity to pause. When you live in the present moment, anything is possible. You don't judge yourself for what you've done and you don't worry about what's next.
Relish in and be grateful for what you do have. A roof over your head, friends, good health, a body that moves, a brain that thinks, safety, a job, family, whatever you have, take a moment to appreciate it.
Your mantra for the week: I love and appreciate my life!
