As time progresses, we get even more clear about the mission of Hello Beautiful Health and what we want to create in the world.
It lights us up to work with women and support them to take away all of the guilt, restrictions and fear of food and ensure that their health, well-being and the way they feel about themselves doesn't get in the way of them having a life they love.
This work fills up every cell in our bodies and has us jump out of bed before our alarm clock sounds even on our "off" days.
But you know what, gorgeous? It hasn't always been this way for us.
Before we decided to take the leap of faith and chase down our dreams, our internal sassy bullies were constantly reminding us why we weren't good enough to be a health coach or start a business. The fear of failing or what people might think of us was there too. These thoughts held us back. But only until the fear of not trying became scarier than the fear of failing. For a long time we believed that confidence was what separated the big fish from the small fish. That it was something they had that we didn't. The truth is, it isn't about confidence at all...it's about action.
What separates the go-getters from the side-liners is the act of taking action despite your self-doubt.
It's learning to turn down the volume on your sassy bully and carry on no matter what she says. It's remembering that through life's scary, unfamiliar, vulnerable and uncomfortable moments, we grow. Think about some of the greatest leaders in the world Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Jr., John F. Kennedy, Nelson Mandela. Do you think they faced fear that what they were doing would make a difference? You bet they did. Did they declare they wanted to do things that most people thought were impossible? Absolutely. Do you think they were scared and unsure of how to get there? Of course they were, but they also knew what was possible if their dreams came true.
This week, we want to invite you to take a moment to ask yourself what you really want out of life.
Who do you want to be?
What do you want to be doing?
And who do you want to surround yourself with?
For most of us, the first things that come to mind may be dreamy ideas, but we tend to only verbalize the ones that we think we could actually pull off.
But what if we told you anything was possible? That you could create the life of your dreams and you were guaranteed to succeed? Would your dreams become even bigger? Even more real? Do they make you feel even more giddy? We hope so, because we are here to give you the support to make your wildest ambitions possible.
The first step to making dreams come true is declaring what you really want. We encourage you to do that this week. Then take action!
