This week Personal Trainer, Bri Dietz, is bringing us a circuit to get those buns toned and ready for that little black NYE dress! So without further ado, let's get movin'!
HIGH KNEE WARM-UP:
At a fast pace, lift your knees up as high as you can. Rotate back and forth between the left and right leg. Do 60 total reps.
Lay on your back. Bring your knees up and your feet on the ground. Reach your fingertips towards your feet until they touch. Then lift your hips into the air, while you ground your heels into the ground and engage your gluts. Lower your hips back down to the starting position. Repeat 60 times.
PLANK GLUT LIFT:
Get into the plank position. Lift each leg up into the air, then return to the ground and switch legs. Draw your abs in, keep your neck neutral, and engage your gluts. Repeat 60 times total.
Begin on all fours. Lift one leg straight back into the air. The swing that leg up between your hands, placing your foot on the ground between your hands. Use this leg as the foundation to swing your opposite leg behind you. Then return to your hands and one knee, with the same leg you started with behind you. Do each leg 30 times.
SINGLE LEGGED BRIDGE:
Return to the bridge position and lift one leg straight up into the air. While keeping the leg straight, lower it so it rests just above the ground. Lower your hips as you lower your leg. Do 30 reps on one leg, then switch to do 30 on the other leg.
